Prologue : Themes

To all readers:
Welcome to our beneficial blog.Based on several discussions we have agreed to work on the course named "Introduction to Drama" as our main concerned.
Drama is best defined as the specific mode of fiction presented in performance. The elements of drama consist soliloquey, catharsis, sarcasm, irony and much more.
Particularly, drama could be divided into four other specific points which lying under it.
Firstly, the theme. Theme is the main idea of the play. For example, love for nature, friendship and so on.
Secondly, plot. Plot consists of five significant elements, such as introduction, rising action, climax, falling action and resolution.


Thirdly, setting. Setting is a framework in the play. It could be divided into two main elements which are place and time.
Lastly, character. There are several concerns inside character. For example, protagonist, antagonist, hero, anti-hero, dynamic character, and flat character. Upon these explanation, we have decided to analyze on the play entitled "Everyman" by Anonymous.


Everyman is a famous English morality play. It emphasizes the significant of doing good deeds while we still breathing. Based on this play, none of the worldly matters agreed to be with Everyman in his grave. Even though this play is a moral story based on Christianity, but it goes the same with Islamic teaching.
